Shem Tov Levi is an Israeli singer, pianist, flutist, arranger, producer and composer, one of the most influential figures in Israeli culture and the creator of progressive rock in the country. Winner of the ACUM Lifetime Achievement Award, he is known for his collaborations with Arik Einstein, and for his membership in the bands "Ketz Aherte" and "Tzlil Mechun". Shem Tov Levi's work is an ironclad asset to Israeli culture in general and Israeli jazz in particular.
In this performance, Shem Tov Levi, along with the members of his ensemble, will perform his best works throughout his years of musical activity. The program includes songs and excerpts from the ensembles "Ketz Aharet", "Tzlil Mechun", Sheshet, songs from his collaboration with Arik Einstein, as well as from the trilogy of albums with the Shem Tov Levi Ensemble.
